Wikisimpsons:10th Anniversary Ideas
Wikisimpsons is turning 10 on September 24, 2015. And a 10th anniversary needs to be celebrated. Therefore, the wiki is looking for ideas of what should Wikisimpsons do for its anniversary. All ideas are welcome.
If you think of something that the wiki could do for its anniversary, then say it. For example, in 2011, the "6th Anniversary awards" took place. Just give ideas like that, but not necessarily awards. All registered users and all IPs are welcome to give their ideas. The deadline for submitting your ideas will be September 12, 2015. Then, some ideas will be choosen to get real.
To be clear, this page is for giving and discussing ideas about how to celebrate the Wiki's 10 years of Existence.

- The party horn looks nice, although the hat feels a little flat. Perhaps if you have some way to make the clouds sort of... bend around it, so it looks more circular? I dunno, that may be asking too much, and I apologize if that's the case. I think the 10 on the hat looks good, but I think we should go without the little ball at the end. How about we have a great birthday party for Wikisimpsons on September 24th complete with a big number 10 on the background, Homer wearing a party hat, make Viva Ned Flanders (The tenth episode of the tenth season) the featured episode for the day of September 24th, and you know how we make snowflakes fall for Christmas, well let's do the same thing, only with confetti and balloons instead of snow. But for one day only, the day of the tenth anniversary of Wikisimpsons. {Acooldude: September 10, 2015}

Plans[edit]
Here are my plans for the anniversary celebration, and the coming months:
- The ColorSwitch templates will be converted to wiki magic words to allow the server more control over the color switch logic. This will happen seamlessly with no edits required.
- On September 24th, the new skin will launch with a modified pink version to celebrate the anniversary. I will try to get a customized logo and falling confetti set up as well, time permitting.
- No advertisements will be shown to any user on September 24th, to thank all of our editors and viewers.
- On September 25th, the site will be switched to the new yellow year-round skin and logo.
- From October 11th to November 1st, we will celebrate Halloween with a new version of our black/gray Halloween skin and custom logo.
- From December 6th to January 3rd, we will celebrate the holidays with a new version of our red/green holiday skin and custom logo.
- On January 4th, we will return to the yellow year-round skin.
