Vertebreaker Trampolines is a brand of trampoline.

History[edit]

When Ned Flanders was a younger door-to-door salesman, he sold Vertebreaker Trampolines to people. His fellow salesmen laughed at him because they were supposedly hard to sell. However, Apollo 14 inspired many kids to want to bounce, like they were on the moon, so sales of the trampolines were high. However, the Vertebreaker Trampolines turned out to be a deathtrap as they generate static electricity with every bounce, as the trampoline was made of birthday balloon rubber and cat hair. If someone was to bounce 500 or more times, they would get electrocuted. Ned then rushed off to save a young Homer Simpson, who was trying to break the 500-bounce barrier. Ned got to Homer on his trampoline as the static electricity started to build up and dived in, knocking Homer off the trampoline, and getting struck by electricity in the process.
