Remember when Homer jumps Springfield Gorge?Homer accidentally attempts the stunt, and almost makes it, but ends up tumbling head-over-heels down the gorge's face. This {falling) goes on and on, and with each impact, Homer's injuries become more and more gruesome - all the while, Homer is shouting "D'oh; yeow; owh" and the like.
He's then lifted by helicopter, to the top of the gorge in a stretcher - with his head colliding with the rock face all the up. Homer's placed into an ambulance, which sounds its siren and speeds away - only to crash into a tree after only a few feet. Homer is ejected from the back of the ambulance and, still on the stretcher, rolls to the end of the cliff and tumbles back down the gorge, trailing an I.V. bag behind him.
Remember when Homer's arm is stuck in a vending machine?Homer passes a vending machine selling a new soft drink, but - turning out his pockets, he has no change. He says to Lenny and Carl: "Time to stick it to the man." As Homer reaches into the machine, Lenny warns him that 'someone lost an arm in there,' but Homer tells him that it's just an urban legend. The scene cuts away to Homer winding his arm through the various gears inside the machine - past a skeletonized arm and hand (holding a "Fresca") - until he finally grabs his quarry and claims "I got it!"
However, Homer discovers his arm is now stuck in the vending machine - and what's worse; he remembers that he has to call Marge. Grunting, Homer starts struggling down the hallway. He takes a step, grunts, drags the vending machines forward, and takes another step. With each step he begins to utter: "Must!-call!-Marge!"
By this point Lenny and Carl have deserted Homer, who realizes he is now alone. Then he spots another vending machine selling candy and drools - 'So__o hu_ng_ry.' The scene cuts briefly away to Marge impatiently waiting by the phone - which then rings. As Marge answers, the scene cuts back to Homer - sitting on the floor, now with his other arm stuck in the candy machine! Though both his arms are stuck, Homer has somehow managed to dial the phone, and he sheepishly tells Marge of his situation.
When the scene returns to Homer and his predicament, he is surrounded by rescue workers - one of whom is holding a 'Skill Saw' explaining that he'll have to cut Homer's arms off. Homer laments: "They'll grow back - right?" Shifting his eyes, the worker assures Homer, saying: "Oh... Yeah" as he starts the saw.
Just before the worker starts sawing Homer's first arm, another asks: "Are you just holding on to the can?
Homer responds: "What's your point!!" The scene cuts away to Homer walking off - rubbing his his arms with the sound of rolling laughter in the background.
