Allison's entry for the school's diorama competition is the scene in the bedroom where the old man is buried beneath the floorboard and Allison uses a metronome to replicate the heartbeat that made the murderer insane. A jealous Lisa, with Bart's help, sabotages Allison with a fake diorama although Lisa's guilt cause her to hear a heart beating under the gym floor where she hide Allison's real diorama and she screams out, "It's the beating of that hideous heart!" which is also line from "The Tell Tail Heart."[2]

Behind the Laughter[edit]
