Milhouse the Man, Krusty in the Can, and the Great Springfield Frink-Out is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #33.
Plot[edit]
Professor Frink, due to a disastrous experiment involving monkeys in his lab, has created an alternative Springfield. At first, it seems that nobody and nothing has changed, but Sideshow Bob is now the principal and Mr. Bergstrom is a permanent teacher. Milhouse, a troublemaker, is punished by Sideshow Bob, Bart Simpson is a sidekick and Lisa is a troublemaker designed to accompany him. The three kids steal Mr. Burns, a simple minimarket gerant, and his Project Rainbow, an economic project. Then they plan to see the Cecil the Clown Show.
Meanwhile, Frink discovers something is wrong when he sees that Fleetwood Mac have reunited and his behavior causes Lenny and Carl to throw him in jail. While incarcerated, Frink meets Krusty and is able to convince him that in an alternate reality, he is a rich and powerful man. The two are assisted by Burns into repairing the damages caused by Frink.
Marge is the mayor and is divorced from persecutor Artie Ziff. Homer is the single father of Bart and Maggie following the breakdown of his marriage to Mindy. His boss, Comic Book Guy, gives him the task of killing Milhouse but Homer gives up since Bart is also present. At the same time, Bart disguises himself in order to not let his father know that he skipped school.
The three kids arrive at Cecil's show when Cecil actually admits he shows true respect for the teachers and the principal. Sideshow Bob hears this and makes up with him. At the same time, Homer and Marge meet each other in Moe's tavern and fall in love. Snake nearly prevents Krusty and Frink from recreating Springfield's true reality but Frink accomplishes his goal, restoring everything back to normal. (Except Frink now has a face on the back of his neck.)
