The Case of the Sax Solo Saboteur/Quotes

Wikisimpsons - The Simpsons Wiki

Marge: Homie, how could you eat a whole pie? We were going to have that one after Lisa's big concert tomorrow night!!
Homer: But I didn't do it. I'm more upset than any-one that the pie is gone. Maybe the dog ate it!
Bart: No dice, fat man. Santa's Little Helper would've licked the pan clean.
Homer: And I wouldn't have?

Lisa: Huh? Wha--?! What's in my hair? And in my saxophone? Shampoo?! Bart!!! How could you, Bart?
Bart: How could I what? You said being cruel was a big brother's job.
Marge: Oh, Bart. Next think I know you'll be like your father and blame it on the dog!
Bart: But I didn't do anything.
Homer: I didn't either!

Marge: There your saxophone's all dry now.
Lisa: Thanks, mom. I still need to practice some more before bedtime.
Marge: Lisa, aren't you practicing a little too much? Maybe if you just relax.
Lisa: No, mom! Don't you understand? There will be a lot of parents videotaping the concert, and if I screw up, It will be on tape forever!

Lisa: oh no! It's me! I'm the prankster! But how?
Marge: Lisa, all the pressure you've been putting on yourself to get your solo right must have caused you to start sleepwalking!

Homer: [Sniff!] [Sniff!]
Marge: I know how you feel, Homie. Our little girl is amazing.
Audience: Clap! Clap! Clap!
Homer: I'm not crying about Lisa's solo, Marge. I just realized that you and Lisa were so busy solving the mystery that you forgot to bake another celebration pie!
