Canon[edit]

Due to the appearance of Carl's Dad Caverns and Carl's dad, should this episode be marked as non-canon? Since later episodes revealed that Carl's father is called Wyatt, had a different appearance, and as far as we know, he had nothing to do with this cave. And it feels like this will be the canon going forward. The Solar Dragon 15:34, August 10, 2024 (EDT)

The majority of the events are fictional, as the plot states it was fabricated by Bart, so everything but the end of the episode may be considered non-canon (it would probably be assumed that Carl's dad is made-up as well as he is heavily inspired by Carl and Wyatt was completely unknown). Most other anthology and fictional episodes (e.g. Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Three Times) are not marked with the non-canon template, so would it be useful to create a template to mark an episode as partially non-canon, where the framing is canon but the events are fictional or non-canon? (this which may apply to Future-Drama, it is marked non-canon but the framing devices do not seem to contain anything that breaks continuity) MediocreUsername (talk) 16:39, August 10, 2024 (EDT)
The ending of the episode implies that it did all happen though. Because of Moe and Edna making out with each other. "Future-Drama" is straight up non-canon though because the plot device is a machine that actually shows the future. The Solar Dragon 18:30, August 10, 2024 (EDT)
