Names and appearances[edit]
I don't understand the functionality of creating different pages for Simpsons characters that take the place of historical figures in these non-canon episodes and not linking them to the actual character. Surely it's safe to assume that the executioner is played by Chief Wiggum, or that that the divorce barrister is meant to mimic blue-haired lawyer, even if not linked to their character's respective canon. This is all to say we should be able to link a characters appearance to characters who clearly take on core elements of their appearance and personality in episodes like these.

- We deal with this by putting "as [[Character name]] as a parameter on their character page. The Solar Dragon 06:28, May 19, 2026 (EDT)
- I get that it's a new change but that could have at least been specified or altered earlier in the edit rather than outright removal of the appearance. Thanks for the clarification anyway. -- BlueHairedLawyerStan (talk) 08:23, May 19, 2026 (EDT)
- Yeah, that was my bad. I looked through the appearances and didn't catch the Blue-haired lawyer's character at first glance. The Solar Dragon 10:27, May 19, 2026 (EDT)
