Springfield Lady Pumas is the girls' basketball team at Springfield Elementary. Lisa Simpson is the team's equipment manager.

History[edit]

The only known game the Pumas played was against Shelbyville, in which they won 2-0 in triple overtime. The school held a pep rally to honor the team for their victory. Unfortunately, the team all got food poisoning at the pre-rally egg salad sandwich party. This left Lisa as the sole honoree at the pep rally—ironically, because she hadn't been invited to the egg salad sandwich party.
