TV Show Information
|
Robber Barons is a drama TV series.
History[edit]
When Homer got home from work with the Springfield Fire Department, Marge, Bart, and Lisa were watching Robber Barons. Homer joined them but quickly got lost because he didn't know who the characters were or what they were doing. He also complained about the lighting being too dark, but they explained it was intentional, as viewers had to squint their eyes to reinforce the show's themes. Eventually, Homer asked if the show was almost over, but Lisa told him it was still the recap from the previous week.
After discovering that Homer had an illegal videotape, Bart sold him out to the Fire Department in exchange for Robber Barons merchandise.
The plot of the episode Homer watched involved Thaddeus Subway asking people to invest in his new invention, the subway. However, they thought it was a ridiculous idea and laughed at him.
