Wikisimpsons time

Wikisimpsons time is now EST, but the time in Recent changes is still UTC, when i'm have signed out why? /AleWi 10:50, 29 January 2012 (EST)

Well technically, Wikisimpsons time is in EST if we were to go by the system. (I just checked and guest times are in EST. Try refreshing after logging out.) However, the recent changes list will always be displayed in the timezone set in your user preferences. I thought that maybe we should try to convert instances of {{CURRENTTIME}} to {{LOCALTIME}} in order to keep all times consistent as they would appear for guests. Ok, I think I figured out what happened. Last week when you asked me to look into changing signatures to UTC, some of the code I put in seems to have changed the timezone of the rest of the system to EST. I guess we might as well leave it like this, since we can't get the signatures into UTC and it makes sense to have everything in one timezone instead of system in UTC and signatures in EST. --Jake 16:15, 29 January 2012 (EST)
