Maggie's Crib is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #58.
Synopsis[edit]
Maggie is scared awake by a thunderstorm.
It's nighttime at the Simpson home and Maggie is asleep in her crib. Suddenly, a storm arrives and the thunder and lightning abruptly awaken Maggie, scaring her and causing her to sit bolt upright in her crib. Maggie climbs out of her crib, goes to Homer's and Marge's bedroom, and climbs into their bed. She lies down between Homer and Marge, and, now contented, goes back to sleep.
However, just after Maggie gets settled in, Homer gives vent to a huge snore. The snore wakes Maggie up and scares her more badly than the storm did. After this, Maggie returns to her crib and sleeps peacefully, even though the thunder and lightning continue.
