Object Information
Object: Stamps
First Appearance: "Homer's Barbershop Quartet"

The Inverted Jenny is a 24-cent United States postage stamp.

History[edit]

Alice Glick had a booth at the Springfield Swap Meet where she sold extremely valuable items for 5¢, including the United States Declaration of Independence, a copy of Action Comics #1, a complete block of 1918 Inverted Jenny stamps, and a Stradivarius violin. Homer saw the items but did not buy them, as he thought they were "junk."
