Fish Story is a Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders story first printed in Li'l Homer #1.
Synopsis[edit]
- Young Homer decides to go fishing for his dinner but is unable to catch any fish.
Young Homer goes fishing for dinner. While he is waiting to get a bite, he thinks he might accidentally set fire to the house while frying the fish. After a while, he gets a bite, but it is only a boot. Homer doesn't give up, however. He continues to fish and catches a shopping cart. Homer becomes a bit angry, but he tries again, and this time he gets a bigger bite: a shopping cart filled with boots. His reaction: "D'oh!".
