Grampa: When I was a kid, the funny paper only had one comics strip, "Mugs and Skeeter2, and we was darned lucky to get it!

Bart: Hey, Grampa, can I have five dollars?
Grampa: What for?
Bart: A comic book.
Grampa: What? Five dollars for a comic book? Why, when I was a kid, comics only cost a penny! The day I pay five bucks for a comic is the day I'll pay a thousand dollars for a new car!
Bart: okay, how about giving me five dollars for a new car?
Grampa: What kind of senile old sucker do you take me for, boy? I know you can't buy a new car for five dollars! Bet you thought you could confuse me. Well I invented that scam back in '39. The old five dollar dodge, or as the demmycrats used to call it, "takin' granny to the hippodrome." Ah, those were the days! Back then you could walk around with your underpants on over your trousers all the live-long day, and nobody said "boo!" Why I used to... whuh? You started me! What do you want?
Bart: Uhhh... five dollars for a... comic book?
Grampa: Sounds like a bargain! Here ya go!
