What do you think? Hovering over the image will make a box appear. This can be useful not to take too much space. — TheHomer (TalkContributions) 21:26, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Nice :) That's a good idea as the current one doesn't say what the doughnut means.--Cook879 21:28, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, but now it's on top, the box shrinks. If anyone has any ideas on how to solve this problem, please do so. Thanks. — TheHomer (TalkContributions) 23:53, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
So, what do you think now? A floating image. I know, it resembles a similar tool some wiki farm has, but it's pretty useful and it looks good.
Which of these two examples do you like?

Floating donut is too intrusive to me. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 17:00, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
That being said, if we could add more icons to make it a bar thing (real world, protected, stub, image needed, bad image etc.) it could become more useful then. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 17:04, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
That's a good idea. Hey, really good! We can extend the bar to make it as much large as the page. The bar should be only on pages that have one of those templates, so pages with no icons or boxes don't have the bar. Example, an article that needs an image, the Image needed template should be turned into the bar, with the message "This article needs an image". The same article is a stub, the stub template should be turned into the same bar, but the image needed message in already on the bar, so the stub template should have a parameter that allows the stub message to be positioned on an specific area of the bar, so it doesn't float over the image needed message. Now, the same article is protected, the protected image should be made a floating image so it's positioned on the bottom right and on the bar. If the article already has an image (real world), then the protected template should have the same parameter I explained one minute ago so it doesn't float over the real world image. Uhhh... did you understand? Well, I'm gonna make some tests. — TheHomer (TalkContributions) 22:22, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
