Comic Information
Genre: Action
First appearance: The Bongos That Time Forgot

Santa's Little Helper: The Above Average Dog was a comic book from Bongo Comics, presented in The Bongos That Time Forgot.

History

The storyline of Santa's Little Helper: The Above Average Dog was simple: boy meets dog, boy walks dog, dog discovers crack in core of a nuclear reactor, radiation from crack causes billionaire plant owner to mutate into 75" billionaire dinosaur intent on destroying town, dog battles 75" mutant billionaire dinosaur, dog saves town. In a classic case of bad timing, the comic was scheduled to be released the day after the meltdown at the Three Mile Island nuclear family. Its release was postponed until 1986, and then delayed again due the tragedy at Chernobyl. Now considered to be the Nostradamus of comic books, its release has been banned by the EPA.
