Sandy Beach is a beach and a holiday destination.

History

When recounting for Homer times when she had been embarrassed on family vacations, Marge remembered their trip to Sandy Beach. Homer attached a fake shark fin on his back and swam near the beach, scaring everyone out of the water. Homer laughed gleefully at his prank, but Bart turned the tables on him. Also with a fake shark fin strapped to his back (doing exactly the same thing as Homer), he swam next to Homer, then came out of the water chuckling. Homer screamed "Aaagh! Sharkboy!" and ran away in a panic.

Marge considered this trip even more embarrassing than the family's visit to Amish Country.
