Richard Starkey, MBE (born July 7, 1940), better known as Ringo Starr, is an English actor and musician, best known for formerly being a member of The Beatles. He voiced himself in the season 2 episode "Brush with Greatness".
He replaced Pete Best as Beatles drummer and that was referenced in the season 5 episode "Homer's Barbershop Quartet", when Barney Gumble replaces Chief Wiggum on The Be Sharps.
Ringo Starr was voted joint 10th in IGN's "Top 25 Simpsons Guest Stars" along with fellow Beatles George Harrison and Paul McCartney.
