The Simpsons: Return to Slander is a comic story featured in Simpsons Illustrated #8.
Plot
Edna Krabappel tells her class that they will embark on an exciting adventure. Bart thinks that they should play pirates and Edna must jump overboard, but it turns out that she has assigned pen pals to all her students. She tells them that pointless busy work can be an adventure too. The next week, Bart receives his first letter from his pen pal, Herbert J. Walker.
