Perfect Strangers is an American television sitcom which originally aired from 1986 to 1993. The two main characters were Balki Bartokomous, played by Bronson Pinchot; and Larry Appleton, played by Mark Linn-Baker.

When Bart and Lisa cleaned out the garage, they discovered a bunch of old home movies on videotape. One of the tapes they found had an episode of Perfect Strangers on it, as well as a commercial that Bart had appeared in as a baby. When Bart learned that his child-star commercials had made plenty of money but Homer had squandered it all, the discovery caused a major rift in the family as Bart successfully sued to become an emancipated minor.[1]

Kang and Kodos once appeared in a fictional sitcom, titled Keepin' It Kodos, which was a parody of Perfect Strangers. Kang and Kodos served the Simpsons as dinner for their boss, but Bart survived and the aliens adopted him. Behind the Laughter[edit]
During "Treehouse of Horror XV", the Perfect Strangers theme song was played during the opening sequence and over the opening credits, then again over the episode's closing credits.
