"Lead It Bleed" is an Itchy & Scratchy episode and Simpsons Comics story that appears in Simpsons Comics #16. The story was later reprinted in Simpsons Comics Strike Back and The Simpsons Annual 2011.

Plot

Scratchy is a talk show host, Itchy is his bandleader (and keyboard player), and various other blue mice are on the other instruments. Scratchy cuts up at his desk, twirling a pencil around his fingers and flinging it through a glass window, which draws cheers and laughter from the audience. Itchy claps along with them. But when Scratchy takes a sip of his coffee, a gleefully grinning Itchy holds up a coffee carafe and a can of kerosene (implying that he's switched Scratchy's coffee with kerosene) and winks at the audience, to the amusement of the other mice in the band. Scratchy then lights a cigar, which ignites the kerosene he's just sipped and results in his exhaling a huge fireball, captured on his "coffee cup cam".

Itchy then yanks a pull cord above his keyboard and releases a shower of sharpened pencils to fall on Scratchy. Scratchy screams when he sees the pencils coming, and ends up being stabbed with pencils all over—including in his eye, through his upper lip, and through his tongue. The audience laughs at the sight of Scratchy with all the pencils stuck in him, and Scratchy sheepishly holds up a sign reading "We'll be right back!" The episode ends with Itchy winking at the audience and making pointing gestures at the camera.
