Julian Assange (born July 3, 1971) is an Australian publisher, journalist, media and internet entrepreneur, media critic, writer, computer programmer and political/internet activist. He will voice himself in the season 23 episode "At Long Last Leave".[1]

He was approached after Matt Groening heard a rumor that Assange wanted to guest star in The Simpsons. he asked casting director Bonnie Pietila to get into contact with him, which she did. He recorded his lines under house arrest in Britain over the phone.[1]
