Grampa the Octogenarian is a comic book from Bongo Comics Group, presented in The Bongos That Time Forgot.
History
When Bongo was in the forefront of championing the strength of out nation's senior citizenry with 'Grampa the Octogenarian. The comic showed that the aged weren't just going to sit back, take their iron supplements and slurp down their tapioca. Although it was aimed at a generation who grew up with strong morals and workd ethics, it was also a generation that believed comic books to be a waste of time. Despite extensive cross-promotion with Smeckler's Powder and Lister's Carbolic, hte book sold but fifteen copies.
