Fran Drescher is an American actress who is best known for playing the role of Fran Fine on the TV series The Nanny. Drescher is also known for having a distinctive voice with a strong Queens, NY accent, which she joked on in titling her first autobiography Enter Whining.

On The Simpsons, Drescher voiced the Female Golem in "You Gotta Know When to Golem," a segment of "Treehouse of Horror XVII". The segment references Drescher's distinctive voice when the Simpsons first hear the Female Golem speak and Homer wants to chop her up with an axe due to her voice.
