• Sydney Swift and Calvin strangely appear in this short at Springfield Elementary, however in "Bart the Genius", their education is at the Enriched Learning Center for Gifted Children. The only explanations for this would be that they moved schools, or their former school was closed down due to Bart's explosion.
• Principal Skinner and Edna Krabappel would again be the subject of a scandal at the school in "Grade School Confidential".
