The 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics were an Olympics held in Atlanta, USA.
History
When Channel 6 sponsored a contest to pick a mascot for the Olympics that were going to be held in Springfield, Kent Brockman says that the mascot will join such other memorable mascots such as "the Atlanta 'Whatzit' and the Montreal vampire."
