Just before the race begins, Itchy sneaks up behind Scratchy and nails his tail to the ground. When the starting gun goes off, Scratchy tries to start running, but he's stuck by the nail in his tail. He tries again and his skeleton leaps out, leaving his fur and flesh behind. Scratchy's skeleton wins the race and appears on a "Wheatees" box.

Plot[edit]

The scene is the Olympic Games: A fanfare is heard, and then the theme from Chariots of Fire begins playing. Scratchy is participating in the 100-yard dash. Just before the race begins, Itchy sneaks up behind Scratchy and nails his tail to the ground. When the starting gun goes off, Scratchy tries to start running, but he's stuck by the nail in his tail. He tries again and his skeleton leaps out, leaving his fur and flesh behind. Scratchy's skeleton wins the race and appears on a "Wheatees" box.
