"Forgive and Regret" will be the 18th episode of season 29.[1] It will air on April 29, 2018.[2] This episode will mark the show as TV's longest running primetime scripted series, surpassing Gunsmoke, which had 635 episodes.

Synopsis

"Grampa makes a confession to Homer while on his deathbed. After his recovery, he comes to realize that this issue will not be easy to reconcile.[3]"


Production

It was scheduled to be episode 634th, but King Leer aired as 634th instead.[1][4]
