Adventure River Adventure is a Simpsons Comics story that appears in Simpsons Comics #225.
Synopsis
- "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?? Are we there yet??? Homer drops Bart and Lisa off at an amusement park for the day, but it’s not until he is long gone that they realize that the park is abandoned and that their thirst for adventure is about to be replaced by the threat of survival."
Plot
Homer was planned have a day with Bart and Lisa but he instead let them explore Tetanus Town by themselves meanwhile he visiting Moe's. Bart and Lisa discover at the gates at they had close the park due to unsafe conditions. Bart goes into the park anyway and Lisa follows him. They decide to start with the safest ride, the carousel. They is there detected by bullies. They will not be revealed at they likes the rides so they chase Bart and Lisa through the park who running away. They jumping on a boat, but the bullies get hold of a service boat and follows them. Then they go through a tunnel where the engine is broken after being hit by throwing hammers and sickles. Bart and Lisa grabs into a mechanical snake and the bullies crashes in a helicopter. The bullies asking Bart and Lisa for help, Bart does not want it but Lisa helping them to the surface. They are then discovered by the guards who telling them at they have visiting prohibited area. Bart telling them at some kids stealing souvenirs and they going out and check it because it is important. Bart telling Lisa at he sorry that he did not want to helping the bullies which overhears him and start chasing him again because he would let them drown. Lisa hoping then that Bart learns one day to be quiet.
