The Homer Effect is a comic story featured in Simpsons Comics #83. The comic later got reprinted in Simpsons Comics Dollar$ to Donuts.
Plot
Bart and Milhouse ensure that Homer gets fired but after an insect bites him, he starts working at the Lard Lad Donut Factory when he realizes that he knows more than anyone else about donuts.
