KFC (short for Kentucky Fried Chicken) is a fried chicken restaurant franchise. It was founded in 1952 by Colonel Sanders.

An ad featuring the Simpsons was made for a special sale, available only in Canada, in 1993. The ad involved Homer buying a bucket of chicken and a bottle of 7-Up. Homer, not realizing that the bottle of 7-Up came free with a 15-piece bucket of chicken, is afraid he's stealing it when he isn't charged for the bottle. At the end, Homer sees Grampa and asks him to help sneak out, but Grampa tells him about the offer.

Transcript

KFC Waiter: KFC bucket and a 2-liter 7up. Thank you, sir.

Homer: Heh-heh. You've got in charge of me with a drink. Aah! Police! I'm surrounded! Never take me alive!

KFC Waiter: But, sir...

[Homer runs to the restroom and tries to climb out a small window, getting stuck]

Homer: Noooooo! Help me! They are after me and I swiped this 7up!

Grandpa: You fool! They're given in my way for free! Ha ha!

Homer: What the? Ooh! Ugh!

[The waiter pushes Homer through the window]

Announcer: Get a free 7up with a 15-piece bucket. Only at KFC!

KFC Waiter: You moist all up, sir.

Homer: Oh.

Simpsons KFC promotions

Not only in 1993 where there was a Simpsons KFC commercial, there was fast food toys. Like in 1998 Australian KFCs had a simpsons tie in there.In 2007 the KFCs in Czech Republic promoted The Simpsons Movie.
