The info I just added was taken from the " Smilin' Joe Fission" trading card, published by skybox in 1993.EximiusMx 05:00, 25 May 2012 (EDT)

I'm not sure if trading cards count as canon. Either way this page needs some references. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 09:35, 25 May 2012 (EDT)
I have all the cards since their release. I will give them a read, and check if the info is canon. I remember they used to include a lot of extra info not mentioned in the show. Or maybe we can create skybox bullet to make people aware where that info is from. They have a Bongo logo, but I am 100% sure they mention the characters directly from the show, and not the comics.EximiusMx 10:07, 25 May 2012 (EDT)
I have compared the Skybox cards with the bios in the Simpsons world episode guide, and seem to go hand by hand. An example of similar information on booth places is Martin Prince, where it is mentioned his aspiration to find a vaccine for cooties. Another one is Dr. Marvin Monroe, where it is mentioned that poor people with emotional problems turn him off. Given this I can say the cards are canon. Still I want more feed back before posting any info from the cards.EximiusMx 12:59, 25 May 2012 (EDT)
Is there an article on the wiki for the series? I don't know what to link to.--Cook879 17:36, 25 May 2012 (EDT)
Well, if these cards have the Bongo logo, I think they might be the ones that Bongo included in some of the old issues of Simpsons comics. (I think I remember hearing somewhere that they included some trading cards :P) How or where did you get these cards EximiusMx? --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 18:20, 25 May 2012 (EDT)
I got these back when I used to live in Mexico in a trading card shop. I think you still can get them at ebay for about $40 each set. There is the 1993, and 1994 collections from Skybox. Then on 2001 a continuation of the series was created by Inkworks on lower quality. I do not recall the ones from the comics at all, but I'll do a research.EximiusMx 19:43, 25 May 2012 (EDT)
