The Simpsons visited the monkey garden once, where Homer told the family to look at the monkeys' stupid antics. The monkeys resembled the family. When the 'Homer monkey' punched the 'Bart monkey' in the head, the family laughed, so Bart came up to the cage and told his monkey doppelgänger, "Hey man, I know just how you feel". The 'Bart monkey' then dropped a peanut into Bart's hand, thinking he was one of the monkeys. While a sign reads "Do not feed or tease", Homer ignored the sign and repeatedly teased the monkeys, by holding out peanuts, then taking the packet away. The rest of the family commented on how mean Homer was being to the monkeys, but Homer ignored them. In revenge, one of the monkeys threw a pile of their excrement into Homer's face, with Bart praising them for doing so. In the car ride home, Homer comments on how that is the final time Homer will take "you kids" to the zoo. Marge tells Homer to calm down, when Homer turns around, hearing monkey sounds, and screams to the fact that the 'Bart monkey', wearing Bart's clothes, is in the back seat of the car and not Bart. Marge wonders where Bart is. In the monkey garden, Bart is being held by the 'Marge monkey' naked, saying that he can't possibly eat another banana, until the 'Homer monkey' stuffs one in his mouth.
