The Rise and Fall of Bartholomew J. Simpson is a comic story featured in Simpsons Comics #47. The comic later got reprinted in Simpsons Comics Madness, Simpsons Classics #24 and The Best of The Simpsons #27.

Plot

It's the future and Bart has ended up in hospital, causing Lisa to examine why he is there. She concludes that "fish logs" are linked to the accident but can not think of why and begins to discover what happened when she was younger.
