Homeowner Homer is a comic story featured in Simpsons Comics 158.

Plot

Lisa fails in guessing jelly beans in a jar, but Homer is successful and the family win a hot tub filled with Jelly Beans. Homer gets shortly after that a visit by Herb Barnstable from the home association that says he can not have it on his plot and give him a list of things to do. Homer goes to the meeting to complain but falls asleep before he can express his opinion when he wakes, he meet Skip Tarrington, which also has problems with the association and he thinks Homer should stand as a new president.

Homer decides to stand, but he get no positive response so he goes to Skip who tells me he most connect with the voters on a personal level by get them believe that you're just like them. Homer begins with knocking on doors in the neighborhood and begin to spread lies about the Herb, with the result at Homer becomes the new president. Attributed the profit reminds Homer that he is alone, Lisa reminds him that the neighborhood believes in him because they voted for him. It's time for Homer's first meeting and there he tell that he will change things, attributed to protein residues from the board. Homer takes his mission seriously and changes all the neighbors' despair that hate him more than ever. Lisa calling him tyrant, but Bart thinks Homer will continue as he does.

Some of the things that happens is Homer towing away a ambulance, and flowers that Homer is allergic to is prohibit, you can not painting with the wrong white, goat is now employed as the lawn mowers and fence must not be too high. When Homer burns down Ned's cross for public displays religiosity Homer realizes that he has got to far, when all the neighborhood hates Homer after they saw that he burning the cross and a mob is outside the house. Homer thinking to going out and speaking out with the neighbors but Marge discouraged him from becoming dejected so Lisa do it, but they not care about her understanding. Homer runs away from the house and discover the house where Skip lives, he looks into the house and discover that Skip talks with a host of rich.

He tells them that the area will become a golf course and shows a model of it and it's all thanks to Homer who do so no one wants to live in the area. Homer confronts Skip but Skip says to him he can not be stopped but he told then to the mob where he is so they come to the house and they also get out the truth and starts chasing the rich instead. Lisa then asks if Homer had learned a lesson, but what he did but not in the way that Lisa had hoped.
