Marge Goes Green!
Comic Information
Release date: December 2011
Comic series: Bart Simpson Comics

Marge Goes Green! is a Simpsons Comics story that appears in Bart Simpson 66.

Plot

Professor Frink visits Marge and tell her that her household has created an ozone hole over the house, when Marge's hair starts to burn. Frink extinguishes the fire and asks Marge to change the family's lifestyle. She decides to do it to not get into trouble with the EPA again. Marge begins to use the potatoes as curlers before dinner, builds a cart of duff cans, removes the bug catchers and poison and makes her own charcoal.

Marge continues her environmental consciousness; going to collect the shower water, making a shirt for Bart from lawn clippings, painting the walls with glown-in-the-dark latex, drying clothes on the ceiling fan and deciding to be composted when she dies. The next day, Lisa gives Marge some tips on how she can cut back the right way, and she realizes that she over-environmentalized. Homer and Bart are glad it's over but Lisa recalls that she was only doing this for one day.
