Carole Penelope "Penny" Marshall (born October 15, 1942) is an American actress, director, and producer, best known for her role as Laverne in Laverne & Shirley and for directing Big. She voiced Lucille Botzcowski in the season 1 episode "Some Enchanted Evening". She is the sister of actor Garry Marshall.
