John Mahoney (born June 20, 1940) is a English-born American actor. He voiced Robert Terwilliger, Sr., Sideshow Bob's father, in the season 19 episode "Funeral for a Fiend". He is known for playing Martin Crane, the father of Kelsey Grammer's character Frasier Crane in Frasier.
