The Trout Hatchery is a place where trout are hatched.
History
After Bart was taunted by the bullies for becoming a stereotypical nerd, he managed to escape their grasp and ran frantically. An arm reached out, pulling him into a locker, where Martin lit a match. Martin showed Bart the hideout where all nerds went to escape bullies—a room filled with nerds playing chess, solving equations, and building a model of the Starship Enterprise.
