The Christmas Orange is a book in the same series as Little Cabin on the Plain.
History[edit]
Homer read the book to Lisa. In the book, the father walked 23 miles back home with an orange for Christmas. But Becca couldn't taste it as she had passed away from Scarlet Fever, so they zested the rind of the orange over her grave.
