Nap Comix is a comedy comic starring Abraham Simpson and Jasper Beardley.

Description

"If there's one chronic neurological condition that the American public loves, it's narcolepsy. With this in mind, we took Abe and Jasper, put them on a soul-searching road trip across America, and had them constantly fall asleep at the wheel. Over the course of three low-selling issues, they crashed through chicken coops, fruit stands, billboards, furniture rental centers, pillow factories, off-Broadway productions of "Hair", and a Presidential debate. Crashing through these buildings would wake the duo up, and each time, they'd cry a shocked, "Land O' Sakes A-Mighty!" By Nap's final issue, we had stopped telling narrative stories completely, opting instead to feature Abe and Jasper crashing their car through different locales in every panel. The book was not a complete failure, though; the six metric tons of returned copies were recycled and made into a successful line of lobster bibs featuring "Lobbie, the Silliest Steamed Lobster in History!""

Behind the Laughter

One of the things Abe and Jasper crash through is an off-Broadway production of the musical Hair.
