The Mattel and Mars Bar Quick Energy Chocobot Hour was the program that replaced Kidz Newz.

Krusty suggested the Mattel and Mars Bar Quick Energy Chocobot Hour as a program to fulfill the FCC's requirement for educational programming, before Channel 6 went with Kidz Newz. Eventually, however, Kidz Newz was canceled and replaced with the Chocobot show.
The program features four superheroes, known as the Chocobots: Major Nougat, Gooey, Cocoa, and their unnamed leader. They live in the Fortress of Choclitude, wear costumes resembling Mars candies, and like to play with Mattel products.
In the episode Bart and Lisa watched, the Chocobots learned that one of their enemies, Colonel Kataffy, was "up to his old tricks". At the cry of "Chocolate away!", they flew out into space, ready to take on the Colonel.
