The Cheery Red Tomatoes is a women's society in Springfield. The leader for this society is Tammy. Marge once joined The Cheery Red Tomatoes in the episode The Last of the Red Hat Mamas, after being shunned by her friends after Homer got into a fight with the Easter Bunny, after stealing the other children's Easter eggs to please Maggie. They appear to be based upon the Red Hat Society, a group that caters to women and is known for their red hats for members aged 50 and older. Women under 50 in the Red Hat Society have to wear pink hats.
