Cultural references

  • Ralph and Prince Porkchops find a spider whose web has the words "that is some pig" weaved into it, a reference to the children's book Charlotte's Web.
  • When the pig eats the spider, destroying the web in the process, a butterfly that was caught in the web flies away. Ralph tells the bug to "fly back to Ferngully".

Trivia
