The Homer Effect is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #83.
Plot
Bart and Milhouse ensure that Homer gets fired but after an insect bites him, he starts working at the Lard Lad Donut Factory when he realizes that he knows more than anyone else about donuts.
