Simon Cowell is an English music executive, television presenter, celebrity and entrepreneur, famous for his hit shows Pop Idol, American Idol, The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent. He appeared in the Simpsons twice, and is set to a third time. His first appearance was as a role of a brutally honest judge, much like he is on his talent shows, in the episode Smart and Smarter, in which he plays a grumpy nursery admissions officer.. The second was in a short called Springfield's Got Talent. He announced in December 2009 that he has signed up again for a Season 21 episode[1]named "Judge Me Tender," where he will voice himself alongside Idol host Ryan Seacrest, and fellow judges Randy Jackson, Ellen DeGeneres, and Kara DioGuardi.

Cowell has said he hated the experience, and said he only does it as "look good and stay young forever", as he character won't age when people watch it in the future. He also says he hated the experience as he struggled with his lines.[1]
