Synopsis
- "Springfield is ready to celebrate the holiday season, but the weather just isn't cooperating, and it's up to Lisa to find out what's keeping winter away."

The official start of winter takes place in Springfield and everyone in town is happy for the winter, Homer wants his holiday brews, Lisa waiting for the migration of the green-footed santa fe sparrow and Bart want to ride on the sled. Joe Quimby lights the brighteest christmas tree in the country and the winter season starts. Four weeks later it's Christmas, the snow is still missing in the city, which created unusual little Christmas spirit, the kids have no feeling to sing Christmas carols, the streets have no snow angels, several packages eggnog are unsold and is zero scientic reasons why the season is passing Springfield.
At the dining table is Bart angry for he can't play in the snow and the Homer is mad for the holiday brews has not been delivered yet. Lisa tell them at the weather dosen't matter, it's still Christmas but Marge is also depressed the stockings hung with care arent't the same without a roaring fireplace, but a few days later when not even the green-footed santa fe sparrow has came to Springfield they have flying to snowy Shelbyville, Lisa also gets angry and goes out on in Springfield and realize that it's like a nightmare and she sees how everyone is sad that the snow has not arrived. Lisa decides to find out why it's hasn't and visit Sideshow Bob, Fat Tony, and Mr. Burns but none of them is the cause to the missing snow. The only thing that Lisa discovers in Springfield gives Christmas feeling is the city's Christmas tree and she visit Professor Frink to find out why his Christmas tree glow so unnatural.
Frink tell her at Quimby asked him to do the tree and he decided to use his frinkum nitrate a new source of vast renewable energy to the Christmas tree, unfortunately, is probably the vastly radioactive then he anticapted. Lisa tell him at they must remove the tree so the winter can coming. A new official start of winter takes places in Springfield and the lights on the Christmas tree is switched off and 12 seconds later, the entire Springfield is covered in snow and everyone is happy, Bart can ride his sled, Lisa's bird has come and Homer's holiday brews has arrived. Frink celebrate Christmas at the Simpson family and tell them at he has learned a lesson, he never again meddle in the dangerous holiday of science. However, four months later, Frink made an easter bunnium that not gone as he had imagined, but now has really learned his lesson.
