Testoster-Zone is an arcade and batting cage.

History

On Valentine's Day, while Marge and Lisa had a mother-daughter outing, Homer and Bart went to Testoster-Zone to play games. While they were playing, a man drove past with his wife in the car, and Homer mocked the man, saying that he (Homer) was having fun on Valentine's Day and the other guy wasn't. The man then called Homer "Lucky bastard!" which earned him a dirty look from his wife, but he hastily covered by telling her that he was just looking in the mirror and talking to himself.

Homer and Bart had fun in the batting cage, using pitching machines to throw baseballs at each other at ever-increasing speeds, until Bart was knocked out by a ball. Homer then set his machine to its slowest speed and had it gently toss baseballs at Bart to wake him up again. After that, they went into the arcade and played games.

Games in the arcade include an unnamed motorbike game, Aunts vs. Zombies, Triangle Wars, Time Waster and air hockey. The arcade has a large air hockey table; Homer set Bart down on the table and batted him around as though he were a puck, to Bart's considerable amusement (particularly when he went through a goal chute).

Behind the Laughter

  • The store's name is a portmanteau of "testosterone zone".
