A user is a member of the wiki who is registered and has a username. These can edit most pages, as long as they are unprotected.

What can a user do?
A user can:
- Edit pages
- Add images to pages
- Add categories to pages
- Create a user page
Autoconfirmed users
Autoconfirmed users are users who have been on Wikisimpsons for at least 7 days and have made at least 10 edits. This is so they don't create an account just to edit the protected pages and vandalize them.
What can autoconfirmed users do?
An autoconfirmed user can:
- Upload images
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Rename pages
Autopatrolled
Autopatrolled users are users who don't have their edits patrolled in recent changes. They are generally trusted enough for this to be the case and don't have a history of bad edits.
Trusted users
Trusted users are users who are trusted by Wikisimpsons staff. They get a special user right, called "Trusted" which gives them a few more powers. These are:
- Have one's own edits automatically marked as patrolled (autopatrol)
- Move files (movefile)
- Move pages (move)
- Not create redirects from source pages when moving pages (suppressredirect)
